But we don't live or fight our battles that way- never have and never will. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 The Message- If you are held hostage by negative thoughts, do what Paul recommends in 2 Corinthians. Take every negative thought captive that threatens to invade your thinking. Do it in the name of Christ immediately. Deliver that thought to him and let him deal with it. Give all destructive thoughts to God as soon as you realize they are gathering in your heart. Be on the lookout for thoughts, don't get caught up in hate, bitterness, lust, hopelessness, and other destructive things. Notice them in advance and stop them in the name of Christ.
